A bottle green katan silk saree handwoven in Varanasi in the zari tanchoi technique, the body patterned with all-over kairi (paisley) butis in zari, each one finely detailed within. The pallu carries a dense floral jaal, framed by a paisley border that ties the design together against the deep green ground. Tanchoi is one of the most intricate Banarasi weaves — multiple weft threads woven into a smooth, satin-like surface with a clean reverse, giving the cloth its weight and quiet sheen. The kairi motif, a classic of Banarasi design, lends the saree a timeless character. Suited to weddings, receptions and festive occasions — pairs well with gold, temple or polki jewellery.
