An Organza silk Banarasi saree in soft ivory, worked in Kadhua and laid out as a continuous Jangla — scrolling vines and florals carried unbroken across the full body of the drape. The Kora-like translucence of the Organza lets the gold pattern stand forward. The motifs, anchal and border are all woven in zari — the jaal carries through the field, the border frames the drape, and the anchal closes the composition. Handwoven in Varanasi on a traditional pit loom. A Jangla layout asks the weaver to build a continuous, scrolling field across the entire drape — no resting ground, no quiet metres. The composition must read as one breath from selvedge to selvedge. That is why Jangla pieces are counted among the most demanding Banarasi compositions, and why the loom holds them for weeks. Styling Note Drape Nivi or Lehenga-style; the Organza falls in long, soft pleats. Pair with antique-gold, polki or kundan, and choose a blouse in ivory raw silk, champagne tissue or deep gold to let the jaal carry the look.
