A lilac purple katan silk saree handwoven in Varanasi in the Ektara weave, the body covered in a jangla — a dense, all-over jaal of floral vines in silver zari. The pallu and border are worked in the rangkat style, with vertical stripe bands shifting between lilac and periwinkle blue, divided by silver zari and touched with meena floral detailing. The Ektara weave gives the saree a fine, single-thread crispness, while rangkat — literally "colour-cut" — joins panels of different colours within a single woven length, among the most skilled of Banarasi techniques. Paired with the labour-intensive jangla, this is a saree of real craft depth. Free shipping across India and worldwide. Suited to weddings, receptions and festive occasions — pairs well with ruby, garnet or yellow stone jewellery. Video of the Saree Click here to view the underskirt Click here for blouse Stitching
