MADE TO ORDER Aari ~ A craft that hails from Kashmir and is 500 years old. The tip of the needle is use to create thousand of tiny stitches in a desired pattern. Floral motifs are very popular for the embroidery This Saree is handcrafted by artisans from Srinagar on 80 gm pure crepe. it took 8 months for the artisans to make this saree with aari handwork. The saree has a broad border made with aari embroidery in contrast blue, green and pink threads . The heavy Pallu is hand embroidered with aari work too.  The saree has passed many hands from weaver to artisans to quality team , and hence may have gained some stains !
