Handwoven Banarasi Katan Silk Kadwa Jangla Saree in Royal Blue

A royal blue katan silk saree handwoven in the kadwa jangla technique. The entire body is covered in a dense all-over jangla of large floral bouquets in silver white, with small meenakari accents in pink, yellow, red and teal scattered through the blooms. The border carries the same dense silver floral scroll, leading into a silver tissue pallu. Jangla is one of the most intricate of Banarasi weaves — an unbroken all-over floral pattern where no ground silk is left bare. The result is a saree that is rich from every angle, the silver white pattern gleaming against the deep royal blue katan silk.
