A handwoven Banarasi Katan silk saree in fresh lime green, drawn over with Adda Tanchoi work enamelled in Meenadar — coloured silk meenakari sitting alongside zari across the body. The motifs, anchal and border are all woven in zari — the Tanchoi field carries to the edges, with the aanchal echoing the meenadar composition. Handwoven in Varanasi on a traditional pit loom. Adda Tanchoi gives the drape its dense satin ground; Meenadar enamels the motifs in coloured silk alongside the zari. Together they are among the most jewel-like Banarasi compositions on the loom — the pattern is built into the fabric itself, with no added embroidery, and every colour change is held by the weaver pick by pick. The luxury of the textile is the precision the two techniques demand together. Styling Note Drape Nivi-style with the pallu pleated wide so the meenadar field catches the light. Pair with kundan or polki, and a contrast deep emerald or tonal lime raw silk blouse to keep the green palette central.
