A handwoven Banarasi Munga silk dupatta in soft pista green, with Kadhua motifs enamelled in Meenadar — coloured silk meenakari laid alongside zari across the body. The motifs, anchal and border are all woven in zari — an intricate Banarasi border frames the drape on every edge. Handwoven in Varanasi on a traditional pit loom. Munga silk gives Banarasi a natural, deep-gold lustre that no dyed silk can replicate — the yarn itself carries the glow. Layered with Kadhua and Meenadar, the gold body holds enamelled motifs built thread by thread in the loom. The luxury of Munga Meenadar is the cumulative skill: yarn, technique and colour all introduced motif by motif. Styling Note Drape over a contrast suit, kurta or lehenga set, with the pallu allowed to fall along the front so the meenadar work reads.
