A sun-warm Banarasi cotton saree in vivid marigold yellow, woven with a light, breathable hand. Tiny floral buti motifs in resham and zari — touched with orange and red — sit gently across the body. The motifs, anchal and border are all woven in zari, with a slender gold band striped in red and silver and finished at the edge with a fresh lime-green selvedge. Handwoven in Varanasi on a traditional pit loom. Cotton Banarasi is the quieter cousin of the silk line — same loom, same patient hand, different yarn. Each buti here is built into the fabric thread by thread in the Kadhua tradition, never appliqued on after. The luxury of the weave lies in the placement and the loom hours behind it. Styling Note Wears beautifully in the Nivi drape with the pallu pleated narrow, or pulled loose over the shoulder for a softer line. Pair with antique-gold studs and a thin contrast-border blouse — white, deep green, or a tonal mustard.
