Handwoven Banarasi Katan Silk Ektara Meenakari Saree in Rose Pink

A rose pink katan silk saree handwoven in Varanasi in the Ektara weave, the soft pink body scattered with fine floral butis and lifted by large floral medallions worked in red, rani and orange meenakari with sona-rupa gold and silver zari. A floral-creeper meena border in the same warm tones runs the length of the saree, framing the pallu. The Ektara weave gives the saree a fine, single-thread crispness, while the cutwork motifs are finished by hand so each bloom sits clean and defined against the ground.
