Blue Butterfly Resham Handwoven Banarasi Tanchoi Silk Saree

A cobalt-blue Banarsi silk saree drawn over with a continuous floral jaal woven tone-on-tone, the blossoms emerging in the same blue as the ground so the pattern reads as texture and shadow rather than contrast. A broad muted gold border runs the length of the drape and deepens at the anchal, giving the cool blue a quiet metallic edge. Handwoven on a traditional Banaras pit loom, the all-over jaal is set thread by thread across the full field of the saree.
