The Tommy is a deep obsidian black loafer — the simplest piece in the Obsidian range, which is what makes it the hardest to get right. Full-grain calf leather upper, plain almond toe, narrow penny strap across the vamp, no decoration. The shoe carries no detail to hide behind — proportion, leather, and finishing are everything. Hand-welted leather sole. These are men's leather loafers built on a sharper, more elongated last than the older Parker or Oilver loafers — sleeker silhouette, same construction quality.
