Handwoven in Varanasi on a traditional pit loom. Tanchoi is among the most technically precise Banarasi weaves — a satin-faced ground where the motif is carried entirely by warp and weft. Layered with the meenadar tradition, the result is a textile where every motif reads in three colours at once.
