Cuero Carter Monks Brown

The Carter in brown — the same hand-stitched single monk as the black, in a warm vegetable-tanned leather that deepens with wear. Single brass buckle, almond toe, no brogueing. The brown is layered, not flat — burnished by hand to give the toe and heel a slightly darker tone than the body of the shoe. A single monk is a quietly versatile shoe: more interesting than an oxford, more formal than a loafer. The brown gives it more rotation than the black does. Hand-stitched, hand-welted, leather-soled.
