A lilac purple katan silk saree handwoven in Varanasi, patterned all over in the jangla style a dense, flowing jaal of floral vines worked in sona-rupa gold and silver zari, with small multicolour meena accents touching the blooms. The pallu opens into a broad silver-zari floral jaal that carries the design to its full, opulent finish. Worked in kadwa, each motif is individually woven into the cloth rather than floated across it — exacting work that gives the jangla its richness and depth. The jangla, with its all-over creeping foliage, is among the most labour-intensive and prized of Banarasi patterns. Free shipping across India and worldwide. Suited to weddings, receptions and festive occasions — pairs well with ruby, garnet or yellow stone jewellery. Video of the Saree
