A lavender purple katan silk saree handwoven in Varanasi, worked all over in the jangla style — a continuous jaal of flowering vines in sona-rupa gold and silver zari, with soft multicolour meena touches lighting some of the blooms in pink, blue and green. The pallu carries a broad silver-zari floral jaal, edged with fine red stripe lines. The jangla is among the most demanding of Banarasi patterns: an unbroken field of creeping foliage that must hold its rhythm across the whole length of the saree. Worked in kadwa, each motif is woven individually into the cloth, giving the dense design its crispness and depth. Free shipping across India and worldwide. Suited to weddings, receptions and festive occasions — pairs well with ruby, garnet or yellow stone jewellery.
