A rani pink katan silk saree handwoven in Varanasi in the zari tanchoi technique, the body covered in all-over kairi (paisley) butis in zari, each finely worked within its outline. The pallu carries a dense floral jaal bordered by paisley, the gold zari glowing against the bright pink ground. Tanchoi is among the most intricate of Banarasi weaves — multiple weft threads woven into a smooth, satin-like cloth with a clean reverse, giving both sheen and substantial drape. The kairi motif keeps the saree rooted in classic Banarasi design while the colour gives it a celebratory lift. Suited to weddings, receptions and festive occasions — pairs well with gold, kundan or uncut diamond jewellery. Video of the Saree
