A salmon pink Banarasi saree in pure Katan silk, with a continuous Aada Jangla layout — scrolling vines and florals built across the full body of the drape. The motifs, anchal and border are all woven in zari, with the jaal running from selvedge to selvedge. Handwoven in Varanasi on a traditional pit loom. An Aada Jangla holds the weaver to a particularly strict alignment — the diagonal rhythm of the jaal must read cleanly across the length of the saree. Banarasi reads as a luxury because the loom hours behind a single yard cannot be compressed, and the placement is what makes the textile feel built rather than printed. Styling Note Drape Nivi for a structured front, or open-pallu to display the full jaal. Pair with kundan or polki — salmon takes warm metals well. A deeper coral, peach or champagne raw silk blouse extends the tone.
