Cuero Charlie Patina Oxfords

The Charlie is a whole-cut oxford with a hand-painted patina finish — the most labour-intensive finishing technique in the line. The upper is one piece of leather: no toe seam, no quarters, just a single panel wrapped around the foot and stitched up the heel. The patina is applied by hand in stages — base coat, mid-tone, deep accent at the toe and heel — so each pair carries a slight variation. Cow crust leather (un-dyed at the tannery) is the only canvas that takes a hand patina well. We dye, sand, and re-dye until the depth is right. Goodyear-welted, leather-soled. Made in Pune.
