A cerulean blue katan silk saree handwoven in Varanasi over a fine zari-striped ground, scattered with mango-and-floral butis in sona-rupa gold and silver zari. The pallu carries a silver floral jaal, the cool blue and bright silver giving the saree a fresh, airy character. Worked in kadwa, each buti is individually woven into the cloth for a crisp, defined finish. A light, versatile saree with a soft sheen and gentle detail.
