Handwoven in Varanasi on a traditional pit loom. Sona-rupa pairs gold and silver zari in a single motif, giving each placement a depth no single-colour zari can match. The Kadhua tradition builds every motif thread by thread; on a deep green ground, the metallic work reads with extra clarity.
