A handwoven Banarasi Tissue saree in warm gold, drawn over with Kadhua motifs enamelled in Meenadar — coloured silk and zari setting the rhythm of the composition across the body. The motifs, anchal and border are all woven in zari — a meenadar border closes the drape, and the aanchal carries the same colour language. Handwoven in Varanasi on a traditional pit loom. Tissue is a Banarasi ground that catches and throws light in every fold — a silk warp paired with a fine metal weft, so the cloth itself reads as a soft, lit-from-within surface. Layered with Kadhua and Meenadar, the gold body is set with motifs built thread by thread and enamelled in colour. The luxury here is the meeting of three traditions in a single length of cloth. Styling Note Drape Nivi or Bengali-style with the pallu fanned wide so the tissue ground reads in light. Pair with antique-gold or polki — the warm body carries warm metal beautifully — and a deep maroon or contrast ivory raw silk blouse.
