The James is an open-laced derby in deep obsidian black — the everyday formal alternative to the oxford. Full-grain calf leather upper, open lacing (the quarters sit on top of the vamp rather than closed under it), almond toe, plain front. The derby's open lacing makes it slightly more comfortable than an oxford and slightly less formal — useful for long days. Goodyear-welted with a stitched leather sole. Made in our Pune atelier.
